On Wednesday 28th of June, Platform Wederopbouw Rotterdam, in collaboration with AIR and the Independent School for the City, is organizing a public discussion about the future of Rotterdam’s Southern Garden Cities.

After an introduction about the intention of the neighborhood design and the current situation, two panels with professionals from the field are questioned. How can the quality of life and sustainability of these neighborhoods be increased? Can the densification of these types of neighborhoods contribute to reducing the housing shortage? How does this affect the original design of the neighbourhood?
