The Gooilandsingel was known as a busy thoroughfare of the Zuidplein area. On 23 June, the Gooilandsingel will be officially opened as a low-traffic city boulevard for pedestrians.

In this professional session, the designers and those closely involved reflect on the transformation of the Gooilandsingel, the process, the design choices and the elaboration. The program includes: 1) Presentation by David Kloet and Berrie van Elderen of Karres en Brands and 2) panel discussion led by Siobhan Burger (guest panel to follow shortly).

After this professional debate, the designers will give a tour of the Gooilandsingel.
