Visit the performance VERS&GERS, preceded by a tour of the highly acclaimed Fenix 1.

Take a tour of Fenix 1, the fascinating building in Katendrecht where since 2019 the former warehouse now houses HUIS Conny Janssen Danst, Codarts Circus Arts, Circus Rotjeknor, and various restaurants. On top of this building, a brand new apartment complex has been erected, renovated and designed by MEI architects. After the tour, you will visit the VERS&GERS performance in the studio of HUIS Conny Janssen Danst.

About VERS&GERS

This summer, the dance studios are hosting VERS&GERS, a program that brings together young and established choreographers in Katendrecht, Rotterdam. With VERS&GERS, HUIS Conny Janssen Danst opens its doors to a wide audience and showcases the diversity of contemporary dance. The program offers a unique opportunity to discover young talent and international dance performances. The evenings are designed to offer something for everyone, from innovative energetic choreography to intimate dance pieces.

The performances are also available on other days without a tour of the building.

• Week 1 (June 13-16) works by Patrica van Deutekom, Andreas Hannes and Dario Tortorelli.
• Week 2 (June 20-23) works by Dalton Jansen, Hiro Murata, Mariko Shimoda & Remy Tilburg.
• Week 3 (June 27-30) works by Tu Hoang, Hiro Murata & Zino Schat.
